WASS on MPLS architecture

Hi,

We are having MPLS WAN network cloud. Our all offices connects to service provider MPLS cloud. We need to have WASS device install / or operate between our two offices where we have huge data transfer going on contnously . We dont want to invest for this device for all locations. Is is possible to do it ? Installing WASS devices particularly on only two office ocations on our MPLS cloud.

Hi Subodh,

What you mention is possible and it's done a lot I'm sure. For traffic to be accelerated there must be a WAAS device at both locations. Sites that don't have a WAAS device will ignore the TCP option bit that the WAE's use to identify each other and traffic will run unoptimized.
