Hello. I've searched quite a bit, and want to make sure... Client has 4507R with two Sup. II-Plus. Plan on upgrading to Sup IVs. Is there a difference between the 4515 and the 4515/2, as far as redundancy is concerned in the 4507R? Thank you.

Hi,

Absolutely not.

These are two different part number used for ordering.

WS-X4515/2 represents the redundat SUP.

WS-X4515 Catalyst 4500 Supervisor IV (2 GE),Console(RJ-45)

WS-X4515/2 Catalyst 4507R Redundant Supervisor IV,(2 GE),Console(RJ-45)

Hope this clarifies.
