Hi alessandro,

Image installation or upgrade in rommon mode extracts the image to RAM and starts your startup config with the image for you to see if there are any inconsistencies. You should manually copy the new image to flash either in rommon or in priv mode after the extraction...

copy tftp://tftpserverip/8.0.3image.bin flash:image

Hi Sir

I have a question related to IOS for ASA. I have two IOS ver on ASA 7.2 and 8.03. Currently it use 7.2. If I tell ASA to use 8.03 which already in ASA, will it ask to reload ASA?

Thanks
