Guys, Have received this message on my WLC.

Is there a list of client exclusion codes that I can view with any guide to what I should do next?

Client 'xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx' which was associated with AP 'xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx', interface '0' is excluded. The reason code is '2(Attempted to use IP Address assigned to another device)'.

Many thx indeed,

Ken

If it is a client mac address in the exclusion list then yes it is probably 2 clients. At least the excluded client is getting the same address as another device on your network.

Generally that means you have an IP conflict on the network.

Hi Dennis,

Could this be two clients with the same IP address and nothing to do with my AP or WLAN addressing?

Could you elaborate more on this please mate?

Many thx

Ken
