Hello,
I am new to the Call Manager world so hopefully I am making sense.
In Call Manager Express (version 5). I know that I can setup voice paging through overhead speakers or even through the speaker of assigned phones. As long as they are assigned to the specified paging group.

My question is this available in CUCM 6.x specfiically 6.1? I am told that this is not available. If not would this be possible in any way. Just trying to think outside the box.
I am interested in this through the phone speakers as well as overhead paging through ceiling speakers.

Hi Tim,
This feature is not built-in to CCM 6.x but is most possible (via IP Phone speaker and Overhead) using these highly rated Third party products;

Hi Tim,
Simple, quick and diry but effective hack...
Put a cheap phone in the middle of a group of users...
I've used in small offices, with 7912's before.
Set it's line to auto answer - to speaker.
Call that phone's DN from any where to page the group.
If required you can put some restriction around the DN with partitions and CSS..
i.e. limit who can dial it
Can become expensive if you are talking about lots of groups.
