7940 - 7960 inline power

Do these devices support the AF standard, as the doc's are vague.

We have seen it working on another vendors switch which only supports AF.

Also did the G version change the inline power ?

7940G - Cisco PoE only, no 802.3af

7941G/G-GE - Both

7942G - Both

7945G - 802.3af, no cisco PoE [I like it]

now why does force10 switch which only supports AF, is able to power up a 7940/60G ?

Hey Nick, if its working with force10 then my guess would be 7940 supports AF but not officially declared by Cisco?
