When setting up a phone with a UC520 bases system I see there are options for a PIN as well as a username and password. What are these used for? Will the phone work without them?
Thanks,
Diego

CME IP address. Yes, this is linked to CUE. Users can add/change notification devices, etc.
Hope this helps.

Diego,
The username/password is setup so that users can access the GUI to add/update speed dials, etc. The PIN is setup to allow users to override call-blocking patterns if configured. The phone can function without either of these.
Hope this helps. If so, please rate the post.

What IP do they use for the GUI? Phone IP or CME IP? Also, any link to CUE? Or does that use seperate user/pwd?
Thanks,
Diego
