CME off-hook dial

Hello,

I have this scenario:

Analog Phone----VG224----2851CME----IP Phone

I need the analog phone to dial a CME ephone-dn as soon as it goes off-hook. VG224 registers thourh SCCP with CME and I get a dial tone on the analog phone, but I want that phone to dail an extension when it goes off-hook.

I've read that with CCM you configure a blank pattern and assign that pattern to a CSS so when it goes off-hook it will dial the masked number. But how do I do this in CME since CSS don't apply?

In short, Yes.

You can use SCCP controlled FXS/Analog PLAR on the vg224 to accomplish what you need.

Please see the following link for more info on SCCP FXS PLAR:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/12_4t/12_4t2/ht1vg224.html#wp1299823

See the following link, from same document, on PLAR configuration for your SCCP controlled vg224 FXS:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/12_4t/12_4t2/ht1vg224.html#wp1291125

On the CME router under the dial-peer for the analog VG224 port configure the plar command to send the call to the apporpriate destination. IE:

dial-peer voice 1 voip

connection-plar 4300 (version dependant)
