Trying to get an idea for VPN setup.

I have PIX with 6.3.

I want to be able to use my Mac laptop to VPN to the PIX's outside IP, authenticate, so that I may be able to remote in to other workstations on the network.

Someone had mentioned to use the VPN wizard, but I was unable to find this option in the PDM.

I've been googling how-to's and such, but all give examples to setting up point-to-point, or VPN's using some other software, or the Cisco VPN Client, etc.

I will be the only person using the VPN. I'd like to implement a RADIUS server in the future, but not right now. I would like the PIX to be able to handle all of it.

I've been messing around with the config (I'd rather learn how to do it CLI, not the wizard), so it's a bit of a mess. It's a functioning firewall, just can't do anything via SSH, Telnet, or VPN.

If anyone can look at the config and give any pointers on how to get the SSH working, or more importantly, how I can get the VPN setup the way I just mentioned, I'd greatly appreciate it.

(this was an inherited firewall, so the 80.x.x.x address is not valid)

Thank you much for any time you give.

The VPN Wizard, I believe is in the PDM menu... not sure since I don't use it.

SSH.....

ssh 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 outside

ssh 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 inside

Hope this helps,

JD
