CCNP-BCMSN Recommend Cisco Press Books?

Unanswered Question

I would like to ask everyone what their opinion is of the Cisco Press books for the study of the next level. I have always been a huge fan of Todd Lammle's Sybex books because the explain better and are not written as technical. (by that I mean they won't put you to sleep)

It seems that the only books out there are the Cisco Press ones. If you read comments on Amazon about the books they are less than stellar.

There are no Sybex books that I can find that are up to date.

Any recommendations on what to pick up?

I have this problem too.

I used both the Self Study and Exam Certification Guide books from Cisco Press and thought that they did a good job. I think I only remember 1 question on the test that I didn't feel was covered in these materials.

I also used the Lab Companion guide for help with hands-on practice.

I'd recommend both study books as well. I think the BCMSN topics are somewhat easy to come up with you own labs for compared to the BSCI. But if you'd rather not have to figure them out for yourself, the Lab book is probably worth picking up as well.
