Is there a difference between coding

0.0.0.0/0 and 0.0.0.0/32 if accepting

only the default route from the provider?

0.0.0.0/32 is not a valid address as the /32 mask would mean exact match of the ip address which is not valid.

Regards,

Niranjan

hi dear friend,

In prefix-list /32 or /24 doesnt mean the wildcard bits dear.

It means the network prefix & hence /32 means any mask over here.

& 0/0 means only the default route.

You can check this on dynagen software.

Hi Friend,

Yes there is a difference in these two lists.

0.0.0.0/0 means only the default route is permitted or denied &

0.0.0.0/32 means any route is permitted or denied.

Thanks

Bipin

Bipin,

Actually Niranjan is correct.

Prefix list for permit any would be 0.0.0.0/0 le 32 and not 0.0.0.0/32

Narayan

as always thanks.
