What can be done to get more details on the email alerts when received in Outlook? The normal text emails dont have any good info, just the link to open MARS to get to the event. The XML emails just attach an XML file with the good stuff, but Outlook doesnt parse that into a nice readable format. I would like to get email alerts and see the details without having to open MARS. This would be handy if I am on the road and get an email and its on my blackberry also.

You can create a script to parse the XML and generate a more meaningful email. We use .forward entries on a Unix box to pipe the message to a Perl script that then does whatever we need it to do.

Can you share this script or a location I can look into this? I'm reading up on the xml schema now.

I wrote our script long before there was XML output, so I'm parsing the HTML email today. It's a monolithic script that does a whole bunch of other work, so sharing is not an option.
The premise is the same, except that with xml you'll get a more robust mapping process. You might try a post here to see if anything has built anything to do this automagically:
