Hi, I am new to Cisco VOIP. Can anyone tell me how to change time on the phones? We have call manager 5.1. I do not see any option in the Call manager itself to change time. Is call manager grabbing time from the Linux OS itself? I was told by the company that installed our VOIP that the OS is locked down and that only Cisco can log into the OS. Is this true? If that is the case I cannot change the time on the call manager. Thanks for your help!!!!

You can use the Date/Time Group to set the time of the phones, it will move the time of the OS according to the Date/Time that you choose.

I do not see any option to change the time under the Date/Time Group. Do I have to add phone NTP reference?

Hi friend,
What you have to do is to define the time zone.
Check this doc please,
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/admin/5_1_3/ccmcfg/b02dtgrp.html
Hope this helps a little bit.
