CCM 4.1 Intercluster Trunk over site to site vpn

Answered Question
Jun 12th, 2008

How much bandwidth does an Intercluster (not intracluster) link need?

Can this work over a site to site vpn?

Will an intercluster trunk work if one cluster is running 4.1 and the other is running 6.1?

thanks in advance

I have this problem too.

HI,

There is no replication between different clusters and no Keepalives. I've ICT working between different countries without any issue. The Trunk is a kind of hook created at one end to throw calls over to next party (i.e. next cluster). The only b/w required would be for calls.

thanks,

Does the intercluster need X amount of dedicated bandwidth for it? Like is their a heartbeat that goes accross? What about any data repcliation?

Or only the amount of bandwidth for X amount of calls depending on the codec?

thanks
