251ÂºC on 1410 Bridge

Hi all, i have a following problem, the Bridge 1410 with IOS 12.3(8)JA2 show a 251ÂºC on radio dot11radio0 and shutdown de radio, the 1410 is installed in the mountain with -16ÂºC on ambient. help me to resolve this problem.

It sounds like you are hitting this issue;

Field Notice: FN - 62588 - BR1410 Radio Resets with Over Temperature Detected Message When Cold

Problem Description

BR1410s running IOS versions in the 12.3(8)JA, 12.3(8)JEA or 12.3(11)JA branch may fail in the field as the temperature drops.

The bridge syslog will report the spurious message:

Interface Dot11Radio0 Radio over temperature detected

and the radio interface will intermittently go down.

Background

Ambient temperature is anywhere between 32 degrees Fahrenheit to 0 degrees Fahrenheit, but the BR1410 reports an over temperature warning.

Problem Symptoms

A running BR1410 continuously reports:

Interface Dot11Radio0 Radio over temperature detected .

Workaround/Solution

Workaround:

Customers need to downgrade their 1410 Wireless Bridge Software to version 12.3(7)JA.
