lldp asset id

How is iidp asset id being used? The document says LLDP Asset ID

on the phone is for inventory management. Question:

1. Is this information captured by switch has LLDP protocal enabled?

or

2. It's stored in the CUCM database and third party software pulls it? But I couldn't find it which table it uses.

Inventory management TLV allows an endpoint to transmit detailed inventory information about itself to the switch, including information hardware revision, firmware version, software version, serial number, manufacturer name, model name, and asset ID TLV. Support for the LLDP protocol itself on the phone, CCMAdmin will likely also be updated to expose LLDP specific parameters such as PowerPriority and Asset-ID.
