Stateful NAT on 6509s

I've been reading in netpro for about an hour various threads on NAT and HSRP. We actually just configured NAT on our two HSRPed 6509s, and quickly discovered that it didn't work - we realized that is was a HSRP thing. CLEARLY we were missing the part about "stateful NAT".

Here's the pickle: according to the feature set toolkit, there is NO IOS that supports stateful NAT for the 6509. This sounds like an amazing oversight on Cisco's part.

Is there anyone out there who has done stateful NAT on 6509s? If so, what version and feature set?

I'm running 12.2(18)SXF8 and the "ip nat stateful id" command doesn't exist.

Thank you!

This configuration for a simple NAT for the STATEFUL NAT there is a LINK below that shows you how to set that on the router which will help you :

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/lan/catalyst3550/software/release/12.1_4_ea1/configuration/guide/Swhsrp.html

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/12_3t/12_3t7/feature/guide/gtsnatay.html

Well, yes, the 2nd link is the one I was using. This command doesn't exist on the 6509 in 12.2(18)SXF8:

ip nat stateful id ip-address redundancy group-name mapping-id map-id

so again....has anyone done stateful nat on the 6509?

Anyone?

If so, what IOS version?
