WAAS and cache capacity

I am having trouble locating a document that outlines the amount of disk space available for file cache for each of the WAE models. The models I am considering are the NME-WAE-502 (we use 2800 series routers so this is the biggest NM we can support), the WAE-512 and WAE-612.

I was also wondering if this changes depending upon the software version used. For the NME-WAE-502 it seems to have a file cache of about 40GB (from looking at the graphs on our pilot WAAS).

Thanks in advance for any help,

Peter

Peter,

The disk space allocation depends on the amount of memory in the WAE. The current allocation per model is:

NME-WAE-302 - 80GB disk, DRE 55GB

NME-WAE-502 - 120GB disk, DRE 47GB, WAFS 47GB

NME-WAE-522 - 160GB disk, DRE 67GB, WAFS 67GB

WAE-512 w/ 1GB of memory, 250GB disks (RAID-1) - DRE 75GB, WAFS 110GB

WAE-512 w/ 2GB of memory, 250GB disks (RAID-1) - DRE 110GB, WAFS 110GB

WAE-612 w/ 2GB of memory, 300GB disks (RAID-1) - DRE 130GB, WAFS 130GB

WAE-612 w/ 4GB of memory, 300GB disks (RAID-1) - DRE 130GB, WAFS 130GB

WAE-674 w/ 4GB of memory, 300GB disks (RAID-5) - DRE 120GB, WAFS 120GB

WAE-674 w/ 8GB of memory, 300GB disks (RAID-5) - DRE 120GB, WAFS 120GB

WAE-7326 w/ 4GB of memory, 6x300GB disks (RAID-1) - DRE 300GB, WAFS 300GB

WAE-7341, 4x300GB disks (RAID-5) - DRE 500GB, WAFS 220GB

WAE-7371, 6x300GB disks (RAID-5) - DRE 1TB, WAFS 200GB

Zach
