I am a student from India, and have finished my 12th grade,

I still have 4 years of Undergraduate course, before I can start my career.

So, when should I start preparing and take the CCNA exam?

I am aware that CCNA certificate is valid for 3 years only.

Like the old saying goes, there's no better time than the present.

You have a vision, you want to achieve your goal...why not start now??

It will not hurt and it can only help you!!

Believe it or not, your career has already started.

The only question is...what are you going to do about it now?

Take your gung-ho attitude, young age and energy and apply it NOW; don't wait, because you never know what suprises tomorrow will bring.

Its the right time now.

Dont just think of completing ccna and stop there.

3 years for ccna. Things will change in 3 yrs.

You will have to start with any of the CCNP,DP,SP,VP any one of that can be complted in 1 year. 4 yrs you can complete all the 4. By the time you are out to find a job It will be a cake walk for you.

I agree. I can't see any benefit to putting off learning.

But if for some reason you may be worried about what companies may think seeing someone that young with all of these certifications and no experience, remember this... You don't have to advertise your certifications. But when the time comes, I'm sure you'll be proudly putting them on your resume.
