I need the following: I have a cisco wireless lan controller 4400 in the main site and access points installed and registered with the controller in branch office. When the controller fall all access points don't works. There is a deployment o special access point that when the wireless lan controller fails, the access points provide service to the users??

You should change the location of the AP from Local to REAP (REmote AP)

REAP is support it in which model of the cisco access points? Only 1030 access points ?

What type of ap's do you have?

1131, 1242 and 1250 Aironet APs and in Cisco Unified Wireless Network controller release versions 4.0 and later are supported.
