I have an interesting problem with Mobile Connect on a Callmanager 6.1.2.
When Mobile Connect is programmed on a extension and a user from outside calls the phone, they hear a single ring and then silence until the call is answered or is sent to voicemail. If I remove the Mobile Connect Profile for the extension, the caller hears the normal cadence of rings. Other testing shows that this does not seem to affect calls from IP phone to IP phone.
Any ideas.

Are you using H323? If so you need to set progress indicators on the dial-peers.

Have a look at: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk1077/technologies_tech_note09186a0080094c33.shtml.
1. Configure the voice call send-alert Cisco IOS global configuration command in the terminating gateway/router.
This command enables the terminating gateway to send an alert message instead of a progress message after it receives a call setup.
HTH, please rate if so.
