GSR support WCCP for Caching

Hello there,

I have newly integrated a GSR 12012 as a BGP Peer. We want to implement WCCP for web caching. Configured

ip wccp web-cache

and

ip wccp web-cache redirect out (Internet interface)

ip wccp web-cache redirect in (Internal interface)

ip wccp redirect exclude in (Web Cache interface)

I see the GSR detect the Web Cache appliance (NetCache2100) but no packet redirect on the

show ip wccp web-cache command

GSR 12012 running on IOS 12.0(22)S

Checking the IOS specification in the Cisco Feature Navigator, didnt find any specification of WCCP for GSR platform.

Hope to get some suggestion regarding WCCP on GSR.

Kapil,

You are correct in not finding wccp supported on the GSR, as it is not supported in the high end core routers (GSR/CRS). The GSR platform shares some of the code with platforms that do support for WCCP, so the commands might be there.
