Cisco IP phone, 3COM 5500 switches and LLDP-MED

Hi, I have a customer who has a network comprised of 3COM8800 switches at the core and 5500 edge switches. I am installing a CUCM6.0.1a and am looking to use LLDP-MED to enable the phones to come up in the voice VLAN. Unfortunately I cant find any documentation regarding this so if anyone has any experience of CUCM and 3COM switches I would greatly appreciate your assistance.

We have found a quick fix is to disable LLDP-MED on the CUCM server. Let me know exactly what else you would like to know. A good white paper on CDP/LLDP can be found
