UC520 and getting SIP trunk to work

Unanswered Question

Folks,

I am having a difficult time getting a new UC520 to work with bandwidth.com SIP trunking service. Attached is my config. I am new to this so I am really not sure what is wrong.

It seems like there is a lot of POTS lines stuff in there which maybe shouldn't be as we aren't using them.

What actually tells the phone system to use "dial-peer voice 1001 voip" to make outgoing calls? Maybe this is part of them problem?

Many thanks,

Julian

I have this problem too.

Hi,

1. check "show dialplan number XXX" to see which DP a call is taking.

2. Once you have configured DP's correctly, check with "debug ccsip message" and "term mon" what's going on with the SIP call.

I have not reviewed your config. It's up to you to remove all unnecessary comands.
