IPT issue

Hi all,

sort of a non technical way of askin..am facing an issue with my ip phone registered with the remote data center call manager..i'm able to hear what the other side is talkin, but they are not able to hear what am talkin..there are not routing issues as far as i know..

please put in your comments on possible areas to check..

hey all,

this is the config used in the port connecting the ip phone..

interface FastEthernet0/41

description End User Connection

switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q

switchport trunk native vlan 80

switchport trunk allowed vlan 80,90

switchport mode trunk

mls qos trust device cisco-phone

mls qos trust cos

and the belwo are the vlan configs

the phone is working(can hear only one side though) only when i configure it in data vlan range..with vvlan 90 ip addr, not even able to ping.

Hi,

You need to verify your routing and security setup here.

If you can not ping from voice vlan, then either your routing is not right. Or you have a firewall in between, and it is blocked.

Either way, you need to verify routing and whether there are any firewalls in between and whether they are configured correctly.

Looks like one way voice issue. Have a look at the following link for troubleshooting -

This could be becasue of NAT as well. Its discussed in the above link.
