Duplex mismatch change does not reflect in sh interface type command

I changed the Duplex setting on an Interface in a Switch to full . the startup and running config reflect the change from half to full, but the Show interface command still shows it as half. Why is it so ?

In which switch model you are trying to change the same ?

Whats the os version currently running in the switch ?

can you post the output of show run/startup as well as show interface commands here ?

Did you hardcode the speed also ? Post a "show interface status" here so we can take a look at it. You could also bounce the port and see if it changes.
