connecting a checkpoint to Cisco 3560E and 4506 SUP-6E

Hi All

I have to connect my Checkpoint Firewall (FW) (Legacy mode) to a 3560E and to a pair of 4506E's. The FW-Cluster will have 1 IP/MAC Address.

There is always only 1 FW activ, the second is standby.

Take a look at the attachment!

1. 3560E: How do I have to configure the 3560E-Gi-ports so that, at a failover there is no traffic interuption?

2. 4506E with Sup-6E: These are my Core/distribution Switches, what will be the best here?

Do I have to add an extra switch connecting 4506s and Firewall?

Thanks

Willem
