Unanswered Question

If i want to call a phone from the outside of my firewall to the inside, do i need to allow that traffic in, via an access list, what would the access list look like, would it be rtp, etc allowed to go just to the call manager, or phone to phone ?

I have this problem too.

Carl,

It depends on what the phones from the outside that need to register with the CallManager at the inside or not. If so,Those phones need to register with the CallManager. May need to request the dhcp and connect to the tftp server first!. Then you allow the rtp packets to be used when ip phones talking with each other.

This is all ports you need to know
