Cisco 7921G wirless regularity domain

Hi experts,

how we can change the wirless regularity domain, we have trapeze access points which i cant see any SSID at all, so how i can change the wirless regularity domain from the phone it self. i dont have the USB CAble

i want to mention one thing , that i have read that cisco docs you cant change the WLAN regularity domain and thats we need to change the phones, ?? is that correct. i have faced this issue with avaya phone where there i can change the wireless regulity domain between us and europe!!!!!!

Hi friend,

That's true. Regulatory domains are set at the factory and cannot be changed by the user.

Which are the regulatory domain of your APs and 7921Gs?

well my friend , the wireless phone is europe and i the AP is trapeze so i guess it USa RF.

i cant see any SSID or channel in ths site survey or when i enter manually even open with no key. so is it becuase of the domain??

Hi,

Check if your APs works for ETSI Domain Channel Scheme (Europe).

Well he said the AP is in EU mode, the phones have the more restrictive US domain so they should work !?!
