SRST issue

1. Call Manager Version: 6.0.1

2. SRST router: Cisco 3825

3. Router IOS version: 12.4 (15) T5

4. IP phones:

â€¢ CP-7940G firmware version 8.0(5.0)

â€¢ CP-7960G firmware version 8.0(5.0)

After configured the SRST:

The IP phones 7940 & 7960 are configured with two line, line 1 for CUG codec G729 and line 2 for PSTN calling codec G711.At the time of failover phones are getting registered to the SRST router and 'CCM fallback mode' is being displayed on the phones. But there is no dial tone on the phone or if we press the speaker key it glows and goes OFF immediately. At the same time the memory utilization on the router is 80% to 90%.

Hi Guys,

I got the same problem with my SRST, I tried to reconfigured it but there was no luck... is there a possibility that this could be a bug or something? do we have any resolution on this? Hope there is someone who can assist.

For the same problem We are experiencing, below is the configuration we did on the router, also We are using H323 for this gateway:

System returned to ROM by power-on

System image file is "flash:c3825-spservicesk9-mz.124-9.T7.bin"

Cisco 3825 (revision 1.2) with 482304K/41984K bytes of memory.

Processor board ID FHK1221F2WP

2 Gigabit Ethernet interfaces

31 Serial interfaces

2 Serial(sync/async) interfaces

1 terminal line

2 Channelized E1/PRI ports

1 cisco Integrated Service Engine(s)

Cisco Unity Express 3.1.1 in slot 1

DRAM configuration is 64 bits wide with parity enabled.

paste the entire router config? sure you don;t have direct inward dial on a bad dial peer? ;)

Sorry Guys my Bad... Here is the entire configuration for your reference, I keep troubleshooting at the moment and keeps on going back to square one... still no luck or solution...
