CUCM 6.1(2) Pickup with BLF Button doesnt work

Hi,

we have a problem with the direct pickup with the BLF button in CUCM 6.1(2). After a call comes in and I want to pick it by pressing the flashing BLF button there is a "Temp Fail" displayed on the phone.

By pressing the Pickup Softkey and then the BLF button it works, but thats not how it should work.

Anyone got the same issue?

Hi Moe,

we are using 6.1(2) with BLF Pickup and it works. You have to set the checkbox at the BLF, you have to scroll to the right corner to see it.

I have a cluster that has the following version: 6.1.3.1000-16.

My problem is that the pickup checkbox is not shown.

any clue why?

as far as I know this is only working with SCCP, not SIP.

Hi,

I had the same issue and that was because the pickup DN was in partition , not reachable from the CSS of the phone/line picking up the call.

I've configured a partition reachable by the phone and it makes it to work.
