In our office we would like to force the caller id on all out bound calls to be a particular number. Is there a way to do that simply? Apparently the Telco is saying that I should be able to.
We are using Call manager express version 4.0 . IOS Version 12.4(9)T7 and a 10 Channel ISDN PRI Connection.

You should be able to do it on the route pattern, or you can do it on the Route List page, down at the bottom hit route list details, and it takes you to a place where you can type in the calling party transform mask. Or you can do it on the DN also.

Just look for the "calling party transform mask" in those.

since this is CME you need to use translation rules, the above suggestions are for CUCM

Number Translation using Voice Translation Profiles
you need to create a translation tule for outbound calls on which you modify the calling number.
Some telcos offer this, they always send a main number. you could try asking them.
