3560 8 routed interfaces

When a C3560 SDM is set to "desktop routing"; the 'show SDM prefer' output indicates that the given features are supported for 8 routed interfaces. What is the impact to the switch if more than 8 interfaces are configured for routing? Are the listed feature resources sub-divided amongst the interfaces? Or worse, does the 3560 fall into software switching for all / some traffic (inducing high CPU load)?

There is no defined limit to the number of SVIs and routed ports that can be configured in a switch. However, the interrelationship between the number of SVIs and routed ports and the number of other features being configured might have an impact on CPU usage because of hardware limitations.
