default directory handler

Answered Question

All, how do I go about getting the default directory handler to have a list of names? I would like to have all names in the default, so that when a caller has the option of dialing by name, they can simply dial a few letters of the name and it recognize who they want. I have the cti route point poiting to the extenstion, which callforwardall to voicemail, which says "there are no names in the diretory"? How do I get the name in the directory?

I have this problem too.

do all the subscribers have their recorded name? that's mandatory?

The handler is pointing to the whole list of subscribers or to a PDL?

No recorded name. Let me try that and see what happens. They are pointed to the whole list. Will let you know.

Thanks, the recorded name solved the issue. I appreciate the knowledge share.
