Any software with 'k9' on the filename supports IPSec VPN.
It's recommended to have the AIM module in the router so this service can be run in hardware instead of software mode. In software mode, the resources are taken away from the CPU and if this router is under heavy load, the IPSec VPN service may be erratic.
