Does anyone know the CatOS (8.x if that matters) counterparts to "logging event link-status [default]" and "snmp-server enable traps linkdown" (or "snmp-server enable traps link-status" in 12.4???)?
That should take care of both traps and syslog. The default is to have traps enabled.
