Cisco 802.11n WLAN Client Adapter with these specs - When?

Hi there guys,

i wonder when are we gonna grab cisco's wlan card with atleast these spec's:

1) 802.11(a/b/g & n)compatible

2) Express card interface for notebooks (i'd prefer the L-shaped; less ackward than other)

3) Chipset with strong "packet injection" support (promiscous mode!)

4) Accompanied by a professional suite for wi-fi surveys & penetration testing.

... desperately waiting for any clues!

Yes I do have a Cisco Aironet 802.11a/b/g(CB21AG)which i can't use now on my new vostro 1400 - express slot!

I have this problem too.

To be honest, I have heard that Cisco is getting out of that business. That is why they have partnered closely with Intel of standardizing the draft 2.0 for 802.11n.

Thnx fella5. what you said there is a bit... ok it too disappointing - definitely for a geek like me! I could understand cisco's collaboration with CACE Tech but not this. I mean people would understand if cisco acquires ASTERISK as they have a lot to offer in VoIP/IPT but not NORTEL.
