VG224 wtih super g3 fax machines

Getting read to put in a vg224. Will register to ccm as mgcp and will use passthru mode. Will I have to do anything on the existing super g3 fax machines? My hope is that I don't have to modify their speed nor turn off ECM. I just want to let tones pass through and negotiate speed at the fax.

Any and all advise is greatly appreciated.

You might want to add these commands on the VG224 and the main PSTN gateway -

no mgcp fax-relay sg3-to-g3

I appreciate that tip.

But still need clear understanding if faxes are going to go through to Super G3 fax machines without any intervention? Or do I need to go on the fax machines and turn off Error Correction MOde and/or turn the speed down to 14.4?

I'm using mgcp and modem passthrough NSE
