Hi All,
I have a 3845 rtr currently running with IOS: flash:c3845-advsecurityk9-mz.124-3d.bin. Iam trying to upgrade the Image to : c3845-advipservicesk9-mz.124-19b , so the BGP will be supported and I can use this as Internet rtr.
I deleted the existing IOS (delete flash: ) to get space and when I try to upload the new image, the TFTP server is giving error: >> 0: File is too big, try increasing the block size.
Please suggest.
Thank you
MS

Which TFTP server are you using ? You need one that has no files size limits whatsoever.

Great..thank you. Using Klever Group PumpKIN TFTP... I just checked and the default block size is 2048.
What is recomended size to avoid the message and for successful IOS uploads..?
Thank you

Recommend tftpd32 that is free and easy to use. You can also use an ftp otr http server and in fact it's even faster than the udp-based tftp.
