I have an ASA, and would like to change from using a local address pool for remote access clients to DHCP. However, the subnet we are using for the pool is on a different subnet as the inside interface of the ASA. Does anyone have this working? Our DHCP expert says that this won't work because of the pool subnet and the interface subnet is different.

hi,
I have no idea about microsoft dhcp server but if u use Cisco ACS then u can use built in dhcp server in ACS to assign remote access only and pool can be on different subnet but make sure that your lan has a default route towards ASA inside.
