Hello,


Can you please let me know if the 29XX or the 35XX can do layer 3 routing. Specifically the 3550 or 2950. Thanks

2950 no, but the 3550 can with the Advanced IP image.

2950 - No, it is layer 2 only.


3550 - yes this is a layer 3 switch. The base image supports static routing + RIP. The advanced image supports EIGRP/OSPF etc.
