Hi Guys,

I can see that 642-552 SND,642-523 SNPA, 642-524 SNAF exams for CCSP has got last date to take the exam written against them. Is cisco planning to release new papers of CCSP. I am planning for CCSP and would like to know how to proceed further.

I have this problem too.

The 642-524 SNAF exam has an "availability" date, and not a "last date to test". It looks to me that 642-524 SNAF is replacing 642-523 SNPA.

The previously required 642-552 SND is being replaced with a new pre-requisite (640-553 IINS, i.e.: CCNA Security).

If you can pass the SND exam by 11/17/2008, you may choose to stick with that pre-requisite rather than CCNA Security. However, the Cisco Press study materials for CCNA Security are fairly complete. The same can not be said for SND. I'd probably choose the CCNA Security pre-requisite for that reason.

The following link identifies one of the new exams (642-515 SNAA) as being an elective:

I "suspect" that the three required exams (assuming CCNA Security as your pre-requisite) would be:

642-503 SNRS

642-533 IPS

642-524 SNAF, which "appears" to be replacing 642-523 SNPA.

One pre-requisite exam (CCNA Security or SND), three CCSP-level required exams, one CCSP-level elective exam, totals five exams to achieve CCSP.

edit: In addition to the std. CCNA pre-requisite.
