Hi,
I am using VMWare console and I had installed the Red Hat for using it with Cisco Call Manager 6.0.
I can login in the application but, when I try to open the web page with the webbrowser I can not login and the page cannot be displayed.
Please check the attachments.
Thank you and regards.
Urban.

Can you avoid the proxy ?
You can set this in the browser and say for local subnets, bypass the proxy and add the subnet 10.10.10.* (assuming your callmanager subnet is 10.10.10.x)

Redhat is installed as part of CM 6.0 install. Did the install complete ? Your VMware config for network settings should be set to bridge through the PC nic card. The IP address of teh Vmware should also fall in same subnet as the active interface of the PC nic.

Hello,
thank you for your feedback.
Yes, the installation was finished.
I saw that according to the network everything is fine, because when I had an error related with the network connection the installation was stopped and just only when the network settings were verified the installation was concluded.
What else could be?
With regards and thanks for your efforts.

I reserved about 40G for Virtual HDD.
Is this enough?
I will try to see if the commands can help me.
Thank you for your efforts.

The thing is that when the CuCm starts it says that VMWare is not a supported platform...
Any ideas?
With regards and thanks.

Thats just to inform you that this is not a tac supported way of installing CM. YOu can use it in lab environments.

I have CCM 6.0 up and running on my VMWare Server with 1gb RAM and 30gb HDD. No problem at all.
The message you saw is normal, you just click proceed and install your CCM.
did you try restarting web services as earlier suggested?
