Cisco Certifications get a face lift and a new Site

Wow,

Some really cool things happening in the Cisco world. The standard CCNA is now a CCNA:Routing and Switching. New Voice, Security and Wireless concentrations for the CCNA. New prerequisites for the professional track. And a brand new, bling bling Cisco website.

Only downside is, the earliest book release I've seen for the new concentrations is in October, and its not a Ciscopress book.

Either way these changes are awesome, and the new website is slick!

Goodbye Netpros' =)

Agreed - the new "Cisco Learning Network" is very nice looking. I was surprised how much content there was already. Obviously someone has been working hard on this and deserves a pat on the back!

If I had one complaint, it would be that you have to register yet again for this access. This would be another credential for me to remember along with my CCO ID / Certification ID / etc etc.

Try using a password manager. I personally use Password Safe (http://passwordsafe.sourceforge.net/), which was orginally developed by Bruce Schneier (http://www.schneier.com), a world renowned leader in the Security and Encryption industries.

As for the CCNA concentrations, I really like this and since mine just expired and I planning on taking it and adding the security concentration.
