7970 phone issue with CCM 5.1

Our users have noticed that following a directory lookup and call placement, users with 7970 phones have to back out of the directory as opposed to going back to the default screen.

Is there any setting in CCM or the phone to default back to the main screen?

7961 (firmware 8.3.2 ) - Corporate Directory screen stays after Dial

Symptom:

In the Corporate Directory, after selecting Dial for one of the Contacts, and

finishing the call, the Corporate Directory with the contact info screen

stays on the phone. In previous version of phone load the behaviour was

different, after Dialling the contact the idle phone screen was returned.

Conditions:

CCM version 4.1(3)sr4d

cmterm-7941_7961-sccp.8-3-2

Workaround:

Selecting Cancel softkey to return to idle phone screen

Related Bug Information after call finishes ip phone display stays on the corp dir menu

Symptom: After making a call through the corporate directory, the phone display does not return to the "On-Hook" display but is stuck on the corporate directory and so you have to manually exit Conditions: Latest firmware for 7940's, 7960's and 7970's Workaround: User can just press the "Exit" softkey twice to return to the "On-Hook" screen Further Problem Description: N/A
