Unity 5.0 Menu configuration

When the subscriber of the Unity service enters the menu of the old messages (saved messages), he as an option "2" that is to empty the deleted message. The question is if there is something like the recycle bin how can i get back the messages that are stored in that folder? if i can't do that why is that menu even there? If i can't get them back, can i take that option from the menu?
