No it will not recertify your current CCNA.

From the CCNA Security certification page:

"The CCNA Security is valid for three years. To recertify, Pass any current CCNA concentration exam (wireless, security, voice) OR pass a current 642 professional exam, OR pass the current CCIE written exam or the current CCDE written exam."

http://www.cisco.com/web/learning/le3/le2/le0/le1/learning_certification_type_home.html

Notice you can recertify by passing "any current CCNA concentration".

From the CCNA certification page:

"CCNA certifications are valid for three years. To recertify, either pass the current CCNA exam, or pass the ICND2 exam, or pass any 642 professional level or Cisco Specialist exam (excluding Sales Specialist exams), or pass a current CCIE written exam."

http://www.cisco.com/web/learning/le3/le2/le0/le9/learning_certification_type_home.html

Notice there is no mention of using the CCNA concentration exam to recertify.

Hope this helps,

Isn't it a bit strange that CCNA Security requires a valid CCNA but it does not re-certify it?
