We are attempting to configure Attendant Console to accept more than the default number of 4 incomming calls. In the process I noticed a Pilot Point has never been configured, or an ac user. The Administrative Guide indicates you need to configure both of these, although the Attendant Console seems to be working. Does this sound like a misconfigured AC?
The receptionist has her personal line on the first button of a 7970. There are 3 main lines (for 3 differnt organizations) on buttons 6, 7 & 8. She says there are never more than 4 calls that appear on the Attendant Console and consequently they are missing calls or they go directly to VM.

We just tried 5 calls to the main number on Attendant Console and they all show up on the Attendant's screen. So it appears that you really don't need a Pilot Point when configuring Attendant Console.
The only remaining issue is that she can't transfer an incomming call to an internal extension via the console. It can be transferred with the IP phone though. This may just be a limitation of Attendant Console.

ahh so you are right, you can configure Attendant console for a user that does not have a pilot point. The Pilot point is only is you want queing and hunting with log in log out features! however transfers should wrk via the console. its not to a wierd rollover partition is it? Attendent console cannot understand partitions, just DN numbers. So the same DN in multiple partitions messes it up!

Chad,
Thanks for clarifying that. The numbers on the Attendant's phone are all in the internal partition...No wierd rollover partitions that I know of.
