Hi Guys
Hope someone can help.
Our ADSL line connected to our Cisco 877 is suddenly Down/Down. The provider has made me sure that the link was just fine. They tested it with a Layer 3 adsl tester.
I notice that the carrier detect (CD) Led in the front panel is keep blinking even after the pots cable is unplugged. Is this normal?
When the Dslam isn't compatible with the 877's firmware, should it be down/down or up/down?
Any comment will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Tomy

It was working before ?
In any case, you shoudl upgrade ADSL FW from:
ftp://ftp.cisco.com/pub/access/800
The one you want is 3.0.39 and there is docfile explaining installation.
Please rate post if it helps!

CD blinking or steady it is vary on vendor. change router and test it?
Id you don't have router then use the switch for port test testing..
See physical connectivity, change/off clock rate if hard set/change.

Dharmesh, the problem is abot an ADSL interface, so switch ports and clock rate DO NOT apply.
