I am have trouble with packets getting fragmented because of their size 1522 bytes. We have the "IP TCP MSS-ADJUST" command on the interface which is fine for TCP packets, but what can I do about UDP packets??

One possible solution is to insure your network supports PMTU as do the clients. Second possiple solution is to reduce MTU on clients.

Whats odd is that the oversized packet is originating in the router.

clear df-bit and let them to be fragmented.
you can do nothing with udp.
P.S. How could you manage to get 1522 bytes packets. I think that is with L2 headers...

That is my assumption also. The MTU for the interface is 1500 and the "bytes on the wire is 1522" and they are being fragmented correctly. I was really try to figure out if I could do something with the UDP packets.
Thanks for your help, you basically answered my question.
